Opening on Friday 2 November 1984, Mike Pickering’s Nude became The Haçienda’s most popular and longest running night. On the 26 January 1991, due to rising violence - dubbed by the national press as Gunchester - Hot was to play its final night, as the doors shut and the rollers pulled down on the club for the first time. The poster design of Nude was unusually pared back and was closer to the club’s templated gig posters but utilised the hazard stripes to maximum effect.
